ALL I COULD NOTICE
In an April’s afternoon
The sun surrendered its light to the fully-faced moon
With the mild wind slicing through the cotton candy clouds
And the stars, shivering and glittering in the quiet skies
Yet, with no power of my own
All I could notice was her and I, alone
And the way her face looked under the moonlight.
The sound of silence harmonized with the early night-cries
The stars sang... they sang to her sacred, hypnotizing eyes
They sang to the happy beats of my heart
Is there a way to staple this memory onto my sight?
‘Cause all I want to remember is the way her laughter sounded that night.
